SCHEDULE UPDATE PROBLEM ON ANDROIDS

When you try to update your schedule or open-time, you see a page with "About: blank" and busy icon and then nothing.

The problem has to do with a recent update to the ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW app — you basically have to undo all updates.

HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM

Follow these steps only if you ALREADY have the issue – else go to the PREVENT section below.

Open the Settings app (gear icon)

Tap on Apps & notifications and find ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW

On the 3 dot menu on the top right, there should be an option to "Uninstall updates"

PREVENT THIS PROBLEM FROM OCCURRING OR RE-OCCURRING

Open the Playstore app

Tap on your name icon on top right and select "Manage apps & device" - this step might be different on different phones.

Tap on "Manage" and select ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW

On the 3 dot menu on the top right, disable "Enable auto update"

On some phones (notably some Samsung phones), GOOGLE CHROME app services is used instead of ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW app. Please follow above instructions using GOOGLE CHROME instead of ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW.
